This year, we were too exhausted to celebrate. We stayed home, made dinner, played with the kids, read stories, said prayers and crashed on the couch watching some Discovery Channel show. Around 11:40, we stumbled up to bed, and were half-asleep when 2007 debuted. In the distance, I heard some fireworks go off.
